Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of thesquirrel.tech (the "Website") and, if you engage us, the provision of software development and related services by The Squirrel Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1) Services

We provide product engineering services including AI product development, web development, mobile app development, MVP builds, prototyping, and technical consulting. Any specific deliverables, timelines, and fees will be defined in a written proposal, statement of work, or similar document ("SOW").

2) MVP timelines

We specialize in building MVPs quickly. Any timeline references (for example "15 days") are goals that depend on scope, responsiveness, and technical complexity. The agreed timeline, milestones, and acceptance criteria will be defined in the SOW.

3) Client responsibilities

Provide timely access to relevant information, accounts, content, and decision makers.
Review deliverables and provide feedback or approvals reasonably promptly.
Ensure you have rights to any content, data, or materials you provide to us.

4) Fees and payment

Fees, invoicing schedule, and payment terms are specified in the SOW or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, payments are due upon receipt. Late payments may pause delivery until accounts are up to date.

5) Intellectual property

Unless the SOW states otherwise:

You retain ownership of your pre-existing materials and IP.
We retain ownership of our pre-existing tools, templates, know-how, and reusable components.
Upon full payment, we assign to you the rights in the project-specific deliverables we create for you, subject to any third-party licenses.

6) Confidentiality

Each party may receive confidential information. Both parties agree to use confidential information only for the engagement and to protect it using reasonable care.

7) Warranties and disclaimers

We will provide services in a professional manner consistent with industry standards. Except as expressly stated in an SOW, the Website and deliverables are provided on an "as is" basis, and we disclaim all warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law.

8) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to an engagement will not exceed the amount paid to us under the applicable SOW in the 3 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

9) Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement as specified in the SOW. On termination, you remain responsible for fees incurred up to the termination date.

10) Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka will have jurisdiction, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
